The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Hi Friends,

Ahh..^^;; Sorry I forgot to remove the journal last night^^; I was fell asleep and never thought the April fools day is over^^;;
well atleast not in DA right? I still can see my smexy icon Jacob there...:puke:

Sorry about what was happen on last journal. It's a part of April fools revenge for my lovely Roleplay group had done to me and my friends^^; they're seriously nice actors.. even not as good as me :devilish:

I'm not usual to do April fool neither i like it. but just special for this year. because they mad me "special" too... :puke:

For all members who really mad with them. let's reunite again and forget what happened to us yesterday. and hopefully it will never happen again :D We wont fall to the same trick!!!

I dont mean harm to anybody, or playing with anybody's heart. just wanna share what my feelings and others to you^^;

Yeah, i hate april fool and trautamtic about it. and yeah the best way to get rid of it. is to play with it. But i dont wanna play with Cockroaches just wanna kill 'em =_+a
